Impulso is a festival that was born from the will of celebrating the jurney of students with the city who welcome them. It's a window to see what's the best that "alternative music" in Portugal has to offer, in indepedent cinema, sound and visual arts. It's pretended to have nacional visibility under the sign of cultural and artistic decentralization.
The concept for Festival Impulso 2020 is to integrate the environment that surrounds it. As such, the chosen figures were the statues of Parque D.Carlos. These are deformed, alluding to the impulse.
The palette used was chosen in order to contrast with the natural tone of the statues. Textures and the allusion to plastic bags are used in order to highlight the statues and the whole concept of posters and graphic image.
This proposal got 3rd place.
